* UK AISI reported a total of 27m GBP over 60 projects, so estimating each of them at the average grant size.

LawZero announced a Gates Foundation grant in August 2025 without stating an amount; estimated at $5m.

LawZero launched in June 2025 naming the Future of Life Institute, Coefficient Giving (then Open Philanthropy) and Schmidt Sciences among its backers without a split; $15m of its roughly $30m of launch funding is attributed here, divided evenly between the three. Jaan Tallinn's share is recorded as his grant to Safe AI for Humanity via Mila, and the remainder arrived through Mila, which incubated LawZero.
